  The Office of the Public Sector Governance (OPSG) was set up with the specific mandate to monitor the overall performance of public enterprises, support ministries and parastatals in implementing performance-enhancing reforms approved by Government and develop the State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) capacity to conduct in-depth supervision and reform. Important strides have been made over the past four years by the OPSG through the implementation of a slew of reform initiatives aimed at strengthening governance through performance management, monitoring and evaluation and institutional strengthening across the public sector for better service delivery. Prime Minister Ramgoolam to Meet his British Counterpart in London to Discuss Chagos Issue

GIS - June 04, 2012: The Prime Minister, Dr Navinchandra Ramgoolam, GCSK, FRCP left Mauritius yesterday for the United Kingdom on an official mission. COMESA-EAC-SADC, Tripartite Trade Negotiating Forum opens in Mauritius

GIS - June 01, 2012: The 3rd Meeting of the COMESA-EAC-SADC Tripartite Trade Negotiating Forum opened this morning at Grand Bay International Conference Centre.The Tripartite initiative aims at harmonising the trade regimes of the COMESA, EAC and SADC through the establishment of an enlarged Free Trade Area (FTA).
